Welcome to Tummynote (“the App”). Please read these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) carefully. By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. About Tummynote

Tummynote is created and maintained by a small independent team (not a registered company). We aim to provide a useful wellness tracking tool, but the App is provided “as is” and “as available.”

2. Who can use the App

  • •You must be at least 13 years old.
  • •The App is for personal, non-commercial use.
  • •Don’t copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, or reverse-engineer the App or attempt to extract its source code.
  • •Use the App only in compliance with applicable laws.

3. Health and safety

  • •Not a Medical Device: Tummynote is designed for general wellness and information purposes only. It is not a medical device and should not be used to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition.
  • •No Medical Advice: The App does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Any health-related information provided is for informational purposes only and should not replace consultation with a qualified healthcare professional.
  • •Consult a Professional: Always seek the advice of your doctor or another qualified healthcare provider with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition or before making any health-related decisions.
  • •No Emergency Support: Tummynote is not intended for emergency use. If you believe you are experiencing a medical emergency, call your local emergency number immediately or go to the nearest emergency department.

4. Your content and how we use it

  • •You are responsible for the content you enter.
  • •You give us a limited license to process your input only to operate, maintain, protect, and improve the App (for example, to parse entries with LLMs, deliver results to your device, and fix bugs).
  • •We do not sell your personal or health information or share it with advertisers/data brokers. (See our Privacy Policy for details.).

5. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please read our Privacy Policy for how we collect, use, store, and delete information, including LLM processing and temporary server copies used to deliver results back to your device. By using the App, you consent to those practices.

6. LLM and other third-party services

The App relies on third-party LLM services and other providers (e.g., cloud infrastructure, analytics). These services have their own terms and privacy policies, and we don’t control their systems or availability. LLM processing is required for core features and cannot be turned off.

7. Prohibited uses

You agree not to:

  • •use the App for unlawful, harmful, misleading, or fraudulent purposes;
  • •upload malware, interfere with or disrupt the App;
  • •bypass access limits, scrape, or harvest data;
  • •infringe others’ rights (including IP/privacy);
  • •attempt to reverse-engineer the App or its security features.

8. Intellectual property

All content, design, features, and branding of Tummynote are owned by the developer(s) and protected by applicable laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written permission.

9. Subscription and billing

  • •App Store Purchases: If you purchase a subscription through the Apple App Store, all billing, payments, and refund requests are managed directly by Apple in accordance with its applicable terms and policies.
  • •Renewals and Cancellations: Subscription renewals and cancellations must be managed through your Apple ID account settings. Please refer to Apple’s support resources for details on managing your subscriptions.

10. Availability, changes, and updates

We may add or remove features, or update the App and these Terms from time to time. When we post changes, the “Last Updated” date will change, and your continued use means you accept the revised Terms. We do not guarantee the App will be uninterrupted or error-free.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or misuse the service. You may stop using the App at any time.

12. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • •The developer(s) shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use or inability to use the App.
  • •We do not guarantee that the App will always be secure, error-free, or uninterrupted.
  • •You use Tummynote entirely at your own risk.

13. Indemnity

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your use of Tummynote or your violation of these Terms or others' rights.
